We've Been Threatened !

This post was first published on The Lawn Guide on 12 April 2011, and relates to threats made against the safety of my family after I published independent lawn research on The Lawn Guide.

Sad, isn't it.

And sick.

This matter is still ongoing - new information is not included within this post - but will be included at a later date.

On 6 April 2011 an anonymous person threatened the safety of my family. The person claimed to be a turf grower who was upset over information about a grass which he obviously grows on his farm, as well as the display of his competitors ads.

I found this very odd as any turf grower is free to grow whatever grass they like - so it doesn't matter which grass they grow as long as they are growing grass - they still get their income and wages for their hard work. So such loyalty can only be to a license holder of one turf type rather than anyone being worried about their income.

After all, I am the single greatest advocate in favour of continued lawn growth in Australia at the time they are under their greatest threat from Government - so I really should be a turf farmer's best friend in the entire country.

So basically, this person is claiming to say that he doesn't care about his income remaining exactly the same regardless of which grass he grows - and that his love for his license holder is so great that he would threaten a family, threaten a little boy and risk imprisonment out of this same loving devotion to his license holder…

Now that's weird.

Why Was My Family Threatened

The threats were in relation to grass reviews and advertising on The Lawn Guide. Now while the criminal was trying to be careful not to mention a grass type, the only new information which I had recently published was about the Buffalo Grass varieties.

The Buffalo Grass studies which I had begun referencing were sponsored by all major license holders of Buffalo grass in Australia, and are the most comprehensive Buffalo studies ever conducted in the world.

And one license holder whom I speak to regularly and holds licenses for two different Buffalo types had no issue whatsoever, even though his grasses were equally and honestly reviewed as the other Buffalo types.

My family was threatened because I shared research results about Buffalo Grass, and advertise a competitors grass.

Pretty sick isn't it.

So much so that he threatened the safety of my little boy and ex-wife in order to intimidate me into silence.

How Was My Family Threatened

Here's a quick rundown of the putrid nature of the threats which were made against my family.

Read carefully to see the revolting and sick nature of the person involved:

The hate letter was full of abuse and personal insults - as hate letters always are.

The hate letter was sent to the home of my ex-wife where both she and my little boy live - this was a deliberate attempt to create the greatest amount of harassment, intimidation and fear for the safety of my family as possible.

The hate letter included my personal phone number, my ex-wives phone number and the address of my ex-wife.

So this sick man had been stalking my family members for some time already!

The hate letter threatened to create hatred toward me and my family amongst turf growers.

The hate letter threatened to release my personal information and my ex-wives home address and her phone number to these same turf growers after he had created this hatred toward me.

He threatened that he would encourage these now angry turf growers to go to the home of my ex-wife and little boy in an effort to intimidate me.

He threatened that he would publish all my personal details and the home address and phone number of my ex-wife on 200 websites.

Wow - 200 websites - this guy has a lot of influence.

And again, what kind of sick mind could even conceive of such evil acts!

He Went Through With His Threats

To some degree - this person went through with his disgusting threats.

The Lawn Guide and a couple of other lawn sites I own were heavily stalked over a two month period.

People all over Australia were now coming onto my sites looking for a conspiracy against one grass type, a conspiracy that didn't exist.

They were now googling my personal name, my business name and trying to discover my home address.

This person had a lot of influence to be able to convince so many people of something so stupid.

And he went through with his threats.

Sadly for these innocent people - I was monitoring and recording all of these things through my website statistics.

They were all recorded and had their computer details and IP Addresses reported to Police.

I feel sorry for these innocent and hard working people - they were made involved in a series of sick and disgusting crimes by one very strange and obviously very disturbed man who would threaten a child, and a family over grass!!!

I Know Who He Is

I know who the person is who threatened my family.

I have his IP address and computer details from the day he threatened me.

Many other factors of this matter are so obvious that the criminal is clearly revealed.

Most of which I cannot write here...

So there is no hiding, his identity is known, and I know who the people are that he influenced with his lies, hate, and conspiracies.

Turn Him In

I know many people reading this are people who have received correspondence designed to create hatred towards me.

Correspondence which included my personal information, my business information, and possibly information about my ex-wife's home and her contact details.

This person threatened the safety of my little boy, he threatened to send angry people to confront my ex-wife at her home, and holds make-believe delusions of conspiracies which do not exist, but he does seem to have influence over some folks, who obviously cannot see the evil in this mans presence or words.

Do not protect this thug,

Do not protect this criminal.

I urge anyone with information to step forward and send this information to me immediately.

OR YOUR FAMILY COULD BE NEXT

Seriously, if someone threatened your family and your child over the grass you grow on your front lawn - and I knew who that person was - would you like it if I protected such a vile criminal…

No.

And I wouldn't do it for a second.

More Clues

The hate letter was posted from the Illawarra in NSW on 6 April 2011 - so the person was in this region on this date to be able to use this postal service. I believe this is the location of his workplace.

The criminal's devotion and love to one single grass type and license holder is immense.

The criminal spends a lot of time in an office - the envelope was printed with a sticky label attached - now I spend a lot of time on the computer to run my business, as well as to write about lawn care, and not even I find the need to use sticky labels for addressing envelopes - the hate mail came from an organised office.

Catch A Crim

This is the little boy who's safety was threatened.

He is just 7 years old.

He is my son.

I urge anyone with information to step forward and send me the information immediately.

Do not protect a criminal.

In the least, he needs psychological counselling and help. So if you know this man, please urge him to seek professional counselling as soon as possible. For these actions, and this behaviour most certainly is not something which any person does, or could even contemplate. Please, if you know him, urge him to get the help he needs.
